Help
When should I use PDF Merge?
Use it when you need to submit several PDF documents as one file. For example, you can combine a cover page, main document, attachments, and supporting documents into one submission-ready PDF.
The most important point when merging PDFs
The merged result follows the order shown in the list. Before running the merge, make sure the file order matches the intended document order.
When should I use PDF Split?
Use it when you need to save only selected pages from a long PDF or split one PDF into page-based files. It is useful for organizing contracts, estimates, reference documents, and scanned materials by page.
How to enter page ranges
For range splitting, enter values like 1-3, 4-6, 7. In this case, pages 1-3, pages 4-6, and page 7 are created as separate PDFs.
Are uploaded PDFs saved on the server?
This utility can merge or split PDFs in the browser. In the normal usage flow, selected PDF files do not need to be stored on the server.
FAQ
How is the PDF merge order decided?
PDFs are merged in the order shown in the merge list. Drag file cards or use the up/down buttons before running the merge.
Can the same page be used multiple times in range splitting?
Depending on the implementation, it can be possible, but it is generally better to avoid duplicate ranges. For example, entering 1-3, 3-5 may include page 3 in both output files.
Why are split results saved as a ZIP file?
Splitting creates multiple PDF files, so they are bundled into a ZIP file to make downloading easier in the browser.
Can large PDF files be processed?
Yes, but larger file sizes and page counts increase browser memory usage and processing time. A desktop environment is recommended for large PDFs.
Can password-protected PDFs be merged or split?
Password-protected or damaged PDFs may not be processed because the browser may not be able to read the contents.
