How to play
- Use arrow keys, WASD, the direction buttons or a swipe to move all tiles toward one edge.
- Two equal numbers merge into one, adding the merged value to your score. A new tile appears only after a move changes the board.
- After reaching 2048, choose Keep going to preserve your board, score and time as you aim for 4096, 8192 and beyond. The round ends when no moves or merges remain.
Good to know
Each tile merges at most once per move. Sliding 2, 2, 2, 2 together produces 4, 4.
Try keeping large numbers together while leaving room to move. A new game or page reload clears the board and score.
