How to play

  1. Choose an opponent and difficulty. You play Black against the computer, which plays White.
  2. Select an empty intersection. Connect five or more stones horizontally, vertically or diagonally to win.
  3. Undo to reconsider your turn, or share the game. Against the computer, undo returns to your previous turn.

Good to know

Block a line of four first, then try to build a line of three with both ends open.

These are freestyle rules, without Renju forbidden moves or tournament openings. The lightweight practice AI changes its move selection by level.

No account is needed. Progress is saved in this browser and does not sync automatically to other devices.

Can I change language and continue?

Korean, English, Japanese and Chinese pages share the save for each game in the same browser. Starting a new game replaces its previous save.
