Sequence Memory · Rules and strategy
Sequence Memory is a practice game about observing and repeating an order made from four pads. Enter your answer after playback; you do not have to react within a countdown.
One more step each round
Round one has a single step. Each successful round adds one step to the existing sequence, and the same pad can occur consecutively. A wrong step ends the game and shows the number of fully completed rounds. Completing all 20 rounds wins.
Playback speed and replay
Choose normal or slow playback. During the input phase, Show Sequence Again clears the current round's entered steps and plays the same order from the beginning. Replay has no penalty, so this is a memory practice tool rather than a ranked score competition.
Controls and pausing
Use each pad's color, number, and name, then click, tap, or press keys 1–4. Answers are not entered while the sequence is playing. Switching away from the tab pauses the game; Continue replays the current round from its start. Reloading or changing language resets progress.
Worked example
After you repeat 1, 3 correctly, the next round may add 2, giving 1, 3, 2. Wait for playback to finish, then press 1, 3, and 2 in order.
Frequently asked questions
Is there a penalty for replay?
No. Replay clears the current round's entry and shows the same sequence again. There are no replay deductions or server rankings.
What happens if I switch tabs?
The game pauses automatically. Return and press Continue to watch the current round from the beginning.
Can I play without distinguishing the colors?
Each pad also has a number from 1–4 and a name. The step announcement provides additional feedback, and you can enter answers using number keys 1–4.
