Word Search · Rules and strategy
Word Search is a puzzle about spotting and marking hidden words in a letter grid. Complete a fruit list using a board and vocabulary in the selected language.
Words and directions
The grid has 10 rows and 10 columns and includes 8 fruit names. Words can appear forward or backward horizontally, vertically, or diagonally. A valid word follows one straight line without bends or skipped cells.
Select two end cells
Choose the two ends of a word to check the straight line between them. Your first selected cell is marked while you choose the other end. Use Cancel Selection or Escape to clear it. Selecting an already found word does not increase the count.
Keyboard and language
Move between cells with arrow keys and select with Enter or Space. Korean, English, Japanese, and Chinese use their own word lists. Progress lasts only in the current tab; a new game, reload, or language change starts a new board.
Worked example
If BANANA runs across one row, select B and the final A to mark it. Selecting the same two ends in reverse order also counts.
Frequently asked questions
Can words run backward or diagonally?
Yes. Check both directions horizontally, vertically, and diagonally, for eight directions in total. Each word follows a straight line.
Do I need to drag on a phone?
No. Tap the first and last cells separately. With a keyboard, use arrows to move and Enter/Space to select.
Will found words survive a reload?
No. Progress is not saved separately and resets on a reload, language change, or new game. There is no server leaderboard or score submission.
