The calculator uses 1 pyeong = 3.305785 m² and 1 sq ft = 0.09290304 m². Exclusive area = supply area × ratio/100; supply area = exclusive area ÷ (ratio/100). Display values are rounded to two decimal places.

  • An area's definition does not change when its unit changes.
  • The default ratio is an example; obtain the applicable ratio separately.
  • Rounded values can produce small differences when added or converted back.

Is 84 m² the same as a 30-pyeong apartment?

84 m² is about 25.41 pyeong. A larger listing figure may refer to a different area definition, so check the source labels.

Is the preset ratio always correct?

No. Enter the ratio for the area figures you are comparing. The worked example uses 70% explicitly.

Which extra unit is shown?

English shows square feet, Japanese shows tatami using 1.62 m² per unit, and Chinese shows mu using 666.6667 m² per unit. These are comparison conventions.
