What is a D-Day Calculator?
A D-Day calculator is a date utility that calculates the difference between a base date and a target date. It helps you check D-Day, remaining days, and elapsed days for exams, trips, anniversaries, project deadlines, and contract dates.
Supported Features
- Calculate the date difference between a base date and a target date
- Automatically display D-Day, D-minus days, and D-plus days
- Check approximate periods in weeks and months
- Enter an event name and copy the result
- Save frequently checked D-Day schedules locally
- Reload saved schedules when revisiting
- Copy share links and auto-fill values from shared links
Useful For
- Checking days left until exams, interviews, or presentations
- Calculating D-Day for trips, reservations, or concerts
- Managing anniversaries, birthdays, and relationship dates
- Tracking project deadlines and work schedules
- Checking elapsed days after starting workouts, studying, or dieting
Where are saved D-Days stored?
Saved D-Days are stored in your browser's local storage. They are not sent to the server or saved to an account, so they can be reviewed only on the same device and browser.
How does the share feature work?
When you click Copy Share Link, a URL containing the current event name, base date, and target date is generated. Opening that link automatically fills in the same values.
What is the difference between D-Day and D+?
If the target date is in the future from the base date, it is shown as D-minus. If the target date is in the past, it is shown as D-plus. If both dates are the same, it is shown as D-Day.
Privacy and Security Notice
This tool processes date calculations and saved items in your browser. However, share links may include the event name and dates in the URL, so avoid entering private or sensitive schedule names.
