Typing Practice

Practice Korean, English, Japanese or Chinese sentences and check accuracy and typing speed.

Input is captured only in the test area. Esc, Tab or moving focus to another field or window ends the test. A computer with a physical keyboard is recommended.

Statistics use up to 1,000 recent samples. Input is processed in this tab and is not saved to a server or browser storage. A result file is created only when you choose to save it.

How to use and read the results

Select the practice language and sentence.
Start and type directly into the input box.
Review correct characters, errors, CPM and the five-character WPM conversion.

Example

120 correct characters in 30 seconds equal 240 CPM. WPM divides character speed by five; it does not count actual words in every language.

How it works

Scoring waits for IME composition to finish. Committed characters are compared at the same positions, and correcting an error updates accuracy.
