Which Images Work Best?

Images with strong contrast between the subject and the background generally produce the best results. Solid-color or white backgrounds are ideal. Complex backgrounds or fine hair details may be more difficult to remove cleanly.

Is This an AI Background Remover?

No. This tool uses color-based background removal rather than AI segmentation. It is lightweight and fast for solid-color backgrounds but may not perform as well on complex scenes.

Which Output Format Should I Choose?

Use PNG or WEBP if you need transparency. JPG does not support transparent backgrounds and will use a solid background color instead.

Important Notes

If the subject and background share similar colors, parts of the subject may also be removed. Adjust the tolerance and edge smoothing settings for better results.
