How to use
- Choose a duration: 1, 5, 10, 30 or 60 seconds.
- Left-click the large test area. That first click starts the clock and is counted.
- When time is up, review CPS and the chart, then compare another run of the same duration.
Example
35 clicks in 5 seconds gives 7 CPS. A best one-second bin of 9 means nine clicks occurred in that specific bin.
Method and interpretation
Counts left mouse button presses and divides the total by the selected duration. Bars represent fixed one-second bins from the first click.
Does not detect auto-clickers or grade physical ability or gaming skill. Leaving the page stops the test. Rest if your hand feels uncomfortable.
Frequently asked questions
Does a double-click count twice?
Yes. Each left-button press inside the time limit counts once; the separate double-click event is not counted again.
Can I use phone taps?
This tool compares mouse clicks. Touch, pen and keyboard input are excluded; a mobile device needs an external mouse.
